GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
I Advices to hand by the San Francisco mail point to another good American harvest, the Pacific slope being again the most favored portion of the union. Freights were high, with but little available!tonnage. Cno handy vessel obtained 83s 9d for a cargo of flour from San Francisco to Liverpool, bat for rammer and fall loading very little was doing, in the expectation of lower rates. Locally, there has_ been a fair amount of business done, during the past week, and prices remain as last quoted, say from 3s 6d to 3s XOd, according ■to description of wheat. In flour there has been rather more business done, and several large parcels have boon placed at from £9 to XlO, according to brand and time of delivery. Oats have seen some fair business, at from Is 8d to 2s. The improved price has considerably increased deliveries. Barley continues exceedingly dull, at from Is 9d to 3s, according to quality Potatoes have remained much as last noted, and prices are more or less nominal. There ere a few enquiries for prime keg butt- r, but chees-e remains unaltered. New cured hams and bacon are now ready.
