[REUTER’S telegrams.] LONDON, May 26, The Lake Disaster.
Later intelligence has been received from Canada concerning the steamboat accident which occurred near London in the Province Ontario, to the effect that two hundred and forty corpses have already been recovered. The French Treaty.
Negotiations have commenced between the English and French Governments for a renewal of the treaties of 1860 and 1873 for regulating the international commerce of the two countries. The treaties will, under existing engagements, terminate in October next, unless their extension or renewal bo agreed upon. ROME, May 26. Political-
A new Ministry has been formed under the presidency of Signor Dopretia, who held the portfolio of Minister of the Interior during the last Cairoli Administration.
