The ship Oxford arrived this morning from Auckland in ballast. Besides the ship Oxford two barqnos and a ship are in sight, also the brig Fawn from Newcastle. The steam launch 'Lyttelton will make excursion trips to Governor’s Bay to-morrow. The following passengers arrived from Weilington by the s.s. Grafton on Sunday night. Misses McDonnell, Norcross, Mrs Fluke, Caiv tain Cnlbert, Messrs Hayward. Newbury. The Union Steamship Company’s s.s. Taiaroa arrived on Saturday from Wellington and Northern porta, and left ut 9.45 p.m.forthe North with passengers, as abova, and the mails for the San Francisco steamer. Xha Maud Graham left Auckland for Kaipara May 14th, to load timber for here. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, May 23. The s.s. Ta Anau loft Melbourne on the I7th at 5 p.m. Experienced light variable winds and firm wenthar. Arrived at Hobart at 8 a.m. on 19th ; left same day at 4.30 p.m., and experienced fine weather across. Sighted land on 22nd at 4 p.m., and stowed down for the night, arri ring nt the Bluff on 23rd at daylight.
