A case of breach of the Public Health Act came before the E.M. this morning, through defendant’* neglecting to fully report a case of noarlct fever to the local board, and was dismissed with a caulion. Scarlet fever ie very prevalent, and the blame Is laid to the charge of defective drainage. WELLINGTON, May 20. Political. ? The Premier leaves for the South at one o’clock this afternoon. It is understood that no alteration of portfolios, or appointment of a successor to Mr Oliver, will be made until Mr Hall’s return, which is reported to be in about ten days. TV TT\TT7I _
