I Davis, hon. sec., read voluminous correspon- 1 dence, also a copy of the proposed Bill to be submitted to Parliament. The Bill was considered in detail, and several clauses amended. I It was decided that the only qualification for membership recognisable should be “ holding a certificate as an authorised surveyor for the colony of New Zealand, or such similar certificates from the other colonies as the council may deem sufficient.” The hon, sec. was directed to forward the Bill to Mr E.
