[eEUTEE’s TELEGEAMS.I PARIS, May 12. Tunis and France. M. Barlholemy St. Hilaire, Minister for Foreign Affairs, made a further statement in Chambers to day as to the intentions of the French Government towards Tunis. He announced that it had been decided to demand substantial guarantees from the Bey of Tunis that a permanent quietude of the TunisAlgerian frontier would bo secured. Ho further made a complete disavowal of the belief which exists that the policy of his Government was directed towards the annexation of Tunis by France. ST. PETERSBURG, May 12. Bigotry. Serious riots, arising out of a strong anti-Jewish feeling, have occurred at several towns in Southern Russia. The conflicts have in some instances boon most severe, afid attended with much bloodshed.
