The brigantine Circe arrived yesterday from Timarn, and was towed in to discharge a portion of her cargo to the Sunbeam for Cape Town. The Union Steamship Company’s s.s. Taiaroa arrived at 7.30 a.m. yesterday trom Dunedin, and left at 5.15 p.m. for Wellington and Northern ports, PORT OF KAIAPOI. Cleared— May 11. Jessie, schooner, 57 tons, Benney, for Thames, with 642 sacks potatoes and 81 sacks sharps, shipped by Blackwell, Evans and Co. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, May 11. C- Matthews, and Hislop ; for Wellington, Mr D. Loftns; for Nelson, Mr Carrie ; for Grey mouth. Mr John Walsh; for Melbourne, Mr C. Hawkea. New Plymouth, May 12. The s.s. Hawea, after landing passengers, proceeded at about one o’clock last night for Nelson and Southern porta. Passengers—Mrs Evatt, Mra K. Evett, Messrs Samuels, Herring, Oldham, Haghes, Batterworth, Jndge Richmond and secretary. Wellington. May 11. Arrived—Penguin, from Picton and Nelson; Malay and G. M. Tucker, barques, and Neptune, brig, from Newcastle. Sailed—H.M.S. Wolverine, for Sydney. A brig is at the heads, supposed to bo the Phillis, from Adelaide. Timaru, May 11.
