The first coursing meeting of the season was commenced to-day at Mr Minehin’s farm, near Sheffield, Only ten courses were run off, with the following results : Canterbury Derby For an unlimited number of dog puppies, at £5 5a each ; £1 Is forfeit ; 21 subscribers ; 11 acceptances ; winner, £35 ; runner up, £ls ; third dog, £5.
