GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
During the past week a fair amount of business has been curried through, notwithstanding the weaker feeling in the Home markots, whicli we learn from private sources is attributable to the favorable nature of tho weather in the great grain growing countries in the Northern Hemisphere. Locally prices continue firm at 3a 6d for Hantor's white, 83 7d to 3a 8d for pearl and velvet chaff, and 3s 93 for Tuscan. Millers have reduced the prico of flour 10s per ton, and advanced that of oatmeal .£1 pm ton. Oats continne in good demand at Is 7d to 1 s lOd, according to quality. A few shipments have gone forward during tho week, which is a healthy sign. Barley remains most inactive, and sales can only be made at low rates, ranging from la 9d up to 3a. Eye grass seed continues to be eagerly enquired for at 4s 6d, but very little is obtainable. Potatoes have had a fair amount of attention for forward delivery, and some large sales are reported at £2. For present delivery the rate obtainable is 30s to 32s Cd. Dairy prodnco is unchanged.
