PARISH MEETINGS.

KIMBEBLET. The annual meeting of the parishioners of the Kimberley sub-district was held at the school on Thursday, April 28th. The Bev. H. Collins presided. The meeting was opened with prayer. The church accounts for the year ending March 31st were read and passed. The receipts, including offertories and stipend, were £26 15> ; expenditure, £24 la ; leaving a balance in hand of £2 14s. The Chairman stated that it was his intention shortly to bald a confirmation class, and also expressed his earnest desire to see more hearty cooperation amongst church members, which would give him greater encouragement in the work he had to do. The following resolution was then proposed by Mr Beveley, seconded by Mr Mahood, and carried unanimously : “ That this meeting wishes to testify its high appreciation of the services rendered by the incumbent since his appointment to the Malvern parochial district, and considers he has performed the duties of his office in a most zealous manner.” The meeting then nominated Mr W. Pitt as clergyman’s churchwarden, and Mr T. T. Mahood as parishioners’ churchwarden. Messrs McOausland, Beveley, and Bobinson were nominated as vestrymen. Votes of thanks were passed to the organist and lay reader for their services during the past year, and after the usual vote of thanks jto the Bev. Chairman the meeting terminated. LINCOLN. The annual meeting of the parishioners of this sub-district was held in St. Stephen’s Church, Lincoln, on Thursday evening, April 28th, 1881, the Bov. J. F, Teakle presiding. There was a small attendance. The balancesheet was read by the retiring parishioners’ churchwarden, Mr Bevell, and showed the sum of £69 6s to have been contributed to the stipend fund and £7O 8s 0»d to have been raised by the offertories and other sources toward the general expenses of the church, special missions, &0,, the present balance in band being 7s 3 id. There were still liabilities to the amount of £24 4s Id due. The accounts as read were passed. The following church officers were elected for the ensuing year— Minister’s churchwarden, Mr Bishop; parishioners’ churchwarden, Mr J . Bevell; vestrymen, Messrs F. O. Murray, 8011, Ivey, Brown, Meyenborg, and E. Townshend, The usual votes of thanks were passed,
