[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] LONDON, May 4, H-M-S. Dotterel Blown Up. Information has been received by tho Admiralty that a terrible explosion occurred on board the British man-of-war Dotterel on April 26th, when off Sandy Point, in the Straits of Magellan, causing tho total wreck of tho vessel and great loss of life. Only the captain and ten others survived the disaster. Nothing is known as to the cause of tho explosion.
