Mails clobo at tho Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : THURSDAY, MAT 5. For Akaroa and Otago. per Wanaka, at 9.30 a.m.; lite fee letters, at 9.40 a.m.; guard's van, 10.10 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Kotemafeana at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard's van 2.30 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c , via San Francisco, will close on May 21at. NOTICE. —On and nfter Saturday, 30th April, the Sydenham Post Office will be opened each Saturday night from half-past six till eight o'clock for the purpose of opening Savings' Bank accounts and receiving deposits.
