Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under SATURDAY, APRIL 30. For Northern Ports, per Wonaka, at 7.30 P m " MONDAY, MAY 2. For Kaikonra, per Go-Ahead, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters at 3.30 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m, train, TUESDAY, MAT 3. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee lettsrs at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Otago add Australian Colonies, per Te Anan, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c , via San Francisco, will close on May 21st. Notice. —On and after Saturday, 30th April, the Sydenham Post Office will be opened each Saturday night from half-past six till eight o’clock for the purpose of opening Savings’ Bank accounts and receiving deposits.
