The Customs duties oolleotsd at Christchurch on Tuesday, April 26th, were as follows i Spirits, .£473 6s 8d; tobacco, .£2OO 14s 6d; wine, iJIS 17b 6d; beer, £2H 1b ; sugar, J 835 10s 7d ; goods by weight, .£355 15s ; ad valorem, JBBIB 7s; other duties, .£37 Bs. Total, .£1995 Os 3d. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Dunedin, April 27. Prime beef, 22s 6d per IfiOlba ; mutton is in moderately full supply at 2£d ; store sheep continaa in strong demand. Wheat—Business quiet; prime milling, 3s 9d to 3s lOd ; fair to good, 3s 6d to 3s 8d ; inferior and fowls’ feed, 2a to 3s per bnahel. Oats are still in demand, principally for shipment, at about late rates; good feed oats can be placed at la 6d to Is 7d, and milling at Is Bd. Barley—For prime samples, there is moderate enquiry at 2s 9d to 3s ; ordinary and inferior are unsaleable.
