MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : THURSDAY, APRIL 28. For Otago per Hawea, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, at 11.30 a.m.; guard’s van, 12 noon train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Rotorua, at 1.40 p m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c,, via San Francisco, will close on May 21st. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
