Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following placeß (subject to the necessary altera- \ tions) as under : SATURDAY, APRIL 23. I For United Kingdom (via San Francisco), Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, par Hawea, as follows: Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 830 p.m. train. TUESDAY, APBIL 26th. For Otago and Australian Colonies, por Tararna, at 1.40 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2p.m.; guard's van, 2.30 p.m. train.
