VITAL STATISTICS
[PBBBS ASSOCIATION TBLEGUAM.] WELLINGTON, April 21. The following are the vital statistics of the principal towns for the month of March, 1881 :
The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 460, against 400 in February, being an increase- of 60. The deaths amounted to 183 in March, an increase of 21 on the number for February. Of the above deaths, males contributed 101, and females 82. 108 of tho deaths were ohildren under five years, being 59.02 per cent of the whole number : 76 of these were children under one year of age.
