United in DeathThe executors of tho will of the late Earl of Beaconjfield have declined a proposal made by the Right Hon. TV. E. Gladstone that tho funeral of tho deceased Earl should be publicly performed. The will of the late Earl directs that the funeral should he of the most simple character, and that tho body should be interred in hia wife’s vault at Hughenden. By the Powers. In consequence of tho continued diffi culty in tho way of tho settlement of the Turco-Greek frontier question the Powers have now made proposals to the Governments of the countries that a convention should he held under their auspices, with a view to briug about a complete anfl final determination of tho frontier difficulty.
