[eeutee’s telegrams.] MELBOURNE, April 14. Obituary. Mr R. C. Bagott, secretary of the Yictorian Racing Club, is dead, SYDNEY, April 14. Italian Gratitude. A deputation of Italian residenta in this city waited upon the Premier, Sir Henry Parkes, to-day, and presented him with a letter expressing in grateful terms their appreciation of the generous action of the New South Wales Government in affording assistance and shelter to their countrymen, the Italian immigrants belonging to the Marquis de Ray’s expedition, who recently arrived here from New Caledonia in a destitute condition.
