Hogden was formerly a sergeant in the Armed Constabulary and lock-up keeper at Auckland. Thß Agitator. Sir George Grey has suffered a relapse with his leg, and did not arrive to-day, but is expected next week. All arrangements re. his addresser remain in abeyance till hit arrival in Auckland. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 13. Mr Rolleston. Mr Rolleston arrived this morning from Auckland, and after transacting official business in the various departments under his control, he set out for the Pungarehu camp, accompanied by Mr Parris and Mr Humphries, Chief Surveyor. WELLINGTON, April 13. Official Irregularities. The report of the officers appointed to enquire into the cbargos against Mr Firth, property tax collector at Felorus Sound, for an alleged alteration of the valuation, has been received by the Government, and it is understood that it declares the charges not proved. However, Mr Firth has been officially reprimanded for remaining drinking at the public-house, and also for the manner in whioh he drew up certain statutory declarations in connection with the charges. Two M-H.Rs. Speak a piece. Messrs Bunny and Botham, M.H.B.'i, addressed their constituents at Masterton last night. A vote of thanks was accorded. DUNEDIN, April 13. The Racer Le Loup.
