MAIL NOTICES.

Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under THURSDAY, APRIL 14. For Otago, per Wanaka, at 11 15 a.m. ; late foe letters, at 11.30 a.m., guard’s van, 12 noon train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma, at 4.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 4.35 p.m. Friday, April 15th (Good Friday), being a Post Office holiday, all branches of the department will bo closed. The office will open from 9 to 10 p.m. on Thursday night to deliver to applicants letters addressed within the lettercarriers’ deliveries. The mails of Friday will close on Thursday, at 8 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom. &c. (via San Francisco), will leave on April 23rd. J. DICK. Chief VerTm
