AUSTRALIAN.

[eeuter’s telegrams.] MELBOURNE, April 11. The Reform Bill. The Conference of the committees from the Legislative Council and the Assembly met again to-day, when a long discussion took place upon the Reform Bill. Mr Berry offered to amend the same, giving a franchise for householders and occupiers at £lO. Sir Charles Sladen, however, stood out for £lO for owners and £25 for occupiers. The matter was debated for some time, but without any decision being arrived at, and tho Conference finally adjourned to to-morrow. It is generally considered that it is improbable that the Conference will arrive at a satisfactory settlement.
