Another of the Now Z aland Shipping Company’s chartered ships for grain arrived yesterday from Port Elizabeth, the Ispahan, a splendid iron clipper ehip of something over 1400 tons register. She left Algoa Bay on the 23rd of February, and her voyage of forty-two days, though a good one, was prolonged to some extent by the prevalence of light weather. The ship was off the Snares on the 31st of March, and encountered there a N.N.W. gale of sixteen hours’ duration. She was off the Peninsula dodging about for a slant of wind for four days, and was ultimately brought direct in to a berth by the steaming Lyttelton.
