In the Legislative Council this evening a Select Committee was appointed to inquire into and report upon the Bill for the reforms of the Constitution now before the House. Improving, His Excellency the Marquis of Normanhy is recovering from his attack of fever and ague, and is to-day much better. SYDNEY, April 6. The following further Exhibition awards to New Zealand exhibitors are awarded :—For white pepper, first order of merit, Gregg and Co., Dunedin ; David Strong, Invercargill; and Trent Bros., Christchurch. The same exhibitors take second orders of merit for other exhibits of the same class, and Trent Bros., of Christchurch, take an additional third order of merit.
