Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — TUESDAY, APRIL 5.
For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Botoraa, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 1.40 p.m. ; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.30 p.m. train. SATURDAY, APRIL 9. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha.
The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c (via San Francisco), will leave on April 23rd. i-iii'NK!-; J. DiOK., Chief Postmaster
