BatOß, for allowing the nuisance of a smoky and dangerous chimney to exist, the Inspector stated that no alteration had been made since last hearing. The Bench adjourned the case for a week, defendant to do away with the nuisance or be fined. Brkach of Sheep ObdinANCß.—George O'Connel was charged with having brought 13 sheep from Otago into Canterbury without having first obtained a certificate of their condition, or without nolico of hia intention, an required by tho Act.
