Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — TUESDAY, MARCH 29. For Wellington and Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 3.15 p.m.; late foe letters until 3.30 p.m. ; guard’s van, Lyttelton train, 4 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Te Anan, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30. For Australian Colonies, per express (to connect with Te Anan at Bluff), at 7 am.; late foe letters may be posted in the travelling postoffice van attached to the express train.
