SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Friday, March 25. [Before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston.] His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. NATIONAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND V MEE. Mr Weston applied herein for an order calling upon defendant to show cause why his sixth plea should not be struck out or amended. Tho defendant did not appear. Order as prayed. Defendant to strike out plea or amend within ten days. RE W. JACKSON, DECEASED Mr Button applied herein for an order granting letters of administration to the widow, with will annexed. His Honor made the order. BE PETITION OP CAIN AND OTHERS. Mr Button applied for an order appointing a guardian ad litem of the infants, and fixing newspapers in which the notice of sale of part of the estate should appear. Bis Honor made an order appointing the guardian as prayed, and fixing the newspapers in which notice of the proposed sale of the estate should appear, viz : —Twice in the local daily papers and once in each of tho Christchurch papers. BE GEORGE DAYIS, DECEASED. Mr Holmes applied for letters of administration to Mary Anne Davies, as widow of deceased. Order as prayed. BE T. W. DRAPER, DECEASED. Mr Douglas obtained leave heroin to register probate copy of will. BE GRANGER, DECEASED. Mr Slater applied herein for probate to the executor named. His Honor granted the probate as prayed. EVANS V BANK OP NEW ZEALAND. Mr Cotterill applied herein for fixing of time and place of trial. Mr Garrick for defendant. His Honor fixed the place of trial at Napier by special jury at next sittings. CONNELLY V SABEY. Mr Izard applied for aa order herein, granting prayer of summons by consent. His Honor made the order by consent without costs. The Court then rose.
