Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (snbjeet to the necessary alterations) as under:— SATURDAY, MARCH 26. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Porta of New Zealand, Ac., per Penguin, as follows Ordinary letters, at 6.30 pm. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.na. ; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m, ; guard's van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on May 19th. TUESDAY. MARCH 29. For Northern Port and Fiji Islands, per Wanaka, at 1.40 p.m. ; late lee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.3 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Te Anau, at 1.40 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
