Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as umW:—■ TUESDAY, MAECH 22. For Westporfc, per Beautiful Star, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters at 11.30 a.m.; guard's van, 12 noon train. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 1.40p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard's ran, at 2,30 p.m. train. For otago and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard's van. 2 30 p.m. train.' WEDNESDAY, MAECH 23. For Australian Colonies, per express, to connect with Bingarooma at Bluff, at 7 a m.; late fee letters may be posted in the travelling post office van attached to the express train. SATUBDAY, MAECH 26. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, per Penguin, as follows; — Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.30 p.m. train.
