The Fifteen were all disposed of in their second innings for 296 runs, M'Shane contributing 64 and-. Kelly and Allen 41 each. The Australians require to make 248 runs in their second innings to win the match. MELBOURNE, March 21. More Awards. The following further Exhibition awards are announced :—First order of merit—A. and T. Burt (Dunedin) for gasaliers; Oapt. Henry Bush (Thames) for kauri gum ; Mrs C. 0. Armstrong, for collection of Victorian wild flowers and New Zealand ferns in their natural colors. Third order of merit—Birmingham and Co. (Dunedin) for cooking and heating range. Fourth order of merit — Thomas Atkinson (Christchurch) for cooking range. Death of Mr Stoney, ML.AObituary—Mr J. Stoney, member for North Melbourne in the Legislative Assembly.
