THEATRE ROYAL.

Last night, to the general disappointment of visitors from Lyttelton and the North, the "Lady of Lyons" was given instead of the " Duke's Motto," as announced. We have already commented on the company's rendering of Bulwer Lytton's play. To-night "As You Like It" is announced to be given, with Miss Beaudet as Rosalind. The very favorable impression this young lady bos made on the Ohristchuroh playgoing puMie should ensure a bumper house. It is, how* ever, not a matter of certainty, after the experience of last evening, that the published progamme will be adhered to.
