Second order of merit—Gathrio and Larnach's Company, Danedin, for hall door; Hally and Ewing, Wellington, for door; Stewarts and Co., Wellington, for mantelshelf and door; Ford and Ogdon, Malvern Hills, Canterbury, for drain pipes, &c.; George Norbury, Wellington, for drain pipes ; John C. Ellis, Merivale, Southland, for stone ; Edward Macaffery, Queenstown, for stone ; Chas. O'Neill, Wellington, for nagging; Fleming, Grey, and Co., Invercargili, and W. Irvine and Co., Palmerston, Otago, for oatmeal; W. D. Ward, Christchurch, for semolina; Greig and Hunter, Christchurch, for stone. Third order of merit —Port Chalmers Quarrying Company, for blue stone. Honorable mention— William Wilson, Christchurch, for stone. The official declaration of awards will be made on the 22nd instant. The day will be a public holiday, and there will be & parade of troops. The whole proceedings will be of a formal character. ADELAIDE, March 15. Another Big Fair. The necessary preliminary arrangements for holding an International Exhibition in the city have now been completed. One for the FarmersMr Morgan, the Premier, has modified his manifesto of last month. He now proposes to defer the intended reduction of duties, except those on agricultural implements. SYDNEY, March 14. Shipping. Arrived—To Auau, from Wellington ; City of Sydney, from Auckland. Welcome to W- Foster. Mr William Foster, late Agent-General for New South Wales in London, returned here to-day per P. and O. steamer Bokhara. He met with a warm reception, and was presented by a committee with a. congratulatory address.
