New Zealand "hipping Company, agents. A brigantine from the North was signalled last night, snppnsed to be the Aratapu. The barque Palace arrived yesterday from Newcastle, with a cargo of piles. She left there February 17th. The sohooner Teres, Captain Grundy, arrived yesterday from Kaipara, having left there Febnißr/ 26th. The Aratapu left the same day, and there were loading there tho May King and the brig Shepherdess. Tke barque Wigtonshire, Captain Mowatt, arrived yesterday from Wellington, to load for London. She was berthed at once on arrival, and at 5 p.m. yesterday she had received 1347 sacks of grain, though only having commenced at 1p m. Her agents expect to get her away by to-morrow or the day after. THE ELIZABETH GHAHAM. Messrs Shaw, Savill and Co.'a barque Elizabeth Graham, well-known in the New Zealand and Heme trade, arrived yesterday from London. She brought a full cargo of general merchandise and a nnmber of passengers. The names of the now arrivals by her and particulars of her cargo are to be found above. She is commanded by Captain Mordne, an old visitor to this port. Tho voyage just completed has been marked by neither sickness nor accidents. _ The passengers appeared to have enjoyed uninterrupted health, and had a good word for the captain and officers. The vessel left Gravesend on November 7tb, landed pilot off the Siart on November 9th. Two days later a S.W. .gale was fallen in with, which drove the vessel back to the Start, and it was the 18th of November before final leave of the land was taken. Had N.E. trades from 34 N. on November 28th to 18 N. on December 10th, when a tack was made to clear the Cape do V»rd Islands. Crossed the Equator December 18th in 30 W. The S.E. trades had too much southing in them, and Pernambuco was sighted Deoember 21 at. Passed Tristan D'Acunba January 11th, and the Cape meridian on the 21st in 42 S. San down the easting in 42 to 45 S-, a somewhat remarkable experience being met with in the shape of four days' fine weather and extremely light easterly winds when in 87 W. and 41 S. Passed Tasmania February 21th in 47 S., and ronnded the Snares February 28th, since which light N.E. winds prevailed to arrival. December 9th, spoke the Southesk, 21 days out from Cardiff to Singapore ; December 11th, the Cochin, 30 days ont from London to Singapore ; December 17th, Sarah Pile, London to Melbourne, 39 days ont. A notice to consignees is given elsewhere by the agents for the Elisabeth Graham, Messrs Edwards, Bennett and Co., who will enter the vessel in at the Customs this morning. Aa will bo Been by advertisement, the Elizabeth Graham is to load here with grain on behalf of Messra P. Cunningham and Co. and Meaara Boyse, Stead and Co. BHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, March 7.
