Mails close at tho Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to tho necessary alterations) as under : SATURDAY, MARCH 5. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 7.30 p.m. Guard’s van must not be used for Penguin’s mail. TUESDAY, MARCH 8, For Northern Porta, per Wanaka, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.30p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Tararaa, at 11,15 a.m.; lata fee letter , at 11.30 p.m. ; guard’s van, 12 noon train. SATURDAY, MARCH 26. For United Kingdom via San Francisco. isYDNE* J.
