The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Saturday, February 26th, were as follows: — wins, .26 6s td ; sugar, £4 16s 8d ; tea, .25 5s i goods by weight, .225; ad valorem, £ls 13s. Total, £57 la Id. AUC riONEEE’S EEPO~ET. Mr T. Prebgb reports a fair supply of live stock, Ac., at bis sale yards on Saturday last, but moat lots submitted (excepting pigs) had a downward tendency. Cattle —Nine cows and thirty calves were yarded. Young well-bred cows in full profit are worth from £6 to £8; medium quality, £4 to £5; old cows, 30s to 40s; calves, a few days old, 3a to 7s each. Pigs—l3s yarded, and prices obtained were much better than during tho last few weeks. Poultry—A good supply, and unless of superior quality and fit for tablo use, are considerably l»wor than formerly. Onions and potatoes are now being brought forward, bat the market is very dull, £4 to £4 10s per ton for tho former, and about 80s tho latter (sacks extra). Cheese ia very dull of sale, 3£d to 4d for good quality, inferior 2d to 3d.
