[eeuteb's telegrams.] LONDON, February 24. Money. The total reserve in netes and bullion in the Bank of England is £17,375,000. The demand for best sides of Australian bides is limited, and prices are \<L lower. WoolAt the wool sale to-day, 9600 bales were offered. The tone of the bidding was quiet. The number of bales withdrawn from sale since the opening is 7000 ont of a total of 72,000 The English Premier. Mr Gladstone's physicians report that he is in no danger from the wound ho received, but he requires complete rest. Mr Parnell. The head quarters of the Irish Land League have now been transferred to Paris, and Mr Parnell has again gone on a visit to that city. CAPETOWN, February 24,. The War. Telegrams have been received to-day from Sir George Oolley announcing that he had reconnoitered the enemy's position as a preparatory movement to an advance against the Boers in force. The news to hand from Natal states that it has been ascertained that a number of Dutch colonists who have np to the present time been deemed loyal, have been secretly assisting the Transvaal Boers in their operations against the British.
