MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : WEDNESDAY, FEBBUABY 23. For Australian Colonies, per express train (to connect with Botomahana at Bluff), at 7 a.m. Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling Post office van attached to the express train. For South Afrioa, per Bobin Hood (for specially addressed correspondence only), at 9.30 a.m. ; late fee letters, at 9.40 a.m.; guard's van, 10.10 a.m. train. SATUBDAY, FEBBUABY 26. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies. Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, Ac. per Wanaka, as follows; Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters at 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m ; guard's van, 830 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on April 12th. Note.—The day of the Port Levy mail service is altered from Friday to Tuesday of each SYDNEY J. DICE, Chief Postmaster.
