THE BICYCLE NUISANCE.

To the Editor of tho “ Globe." Sib, —I was really quite poorly yesterday morning when walking along by the Convent grounds, but what was my surprise and consternation to meet a man coming at full speed on a bicycle in the centre of the asphalt. I was so much agitated by this occurrence that my nerves have not yet recovered from the shook. There were several females and children on the side walk, who all seemed astonished and perplexed. There seemed, from the unsteady motion of the vehicle, to be considerable danger of our clothes being caught. The City Council or other authorities are inexcusable lor not having ere this taken stops to prevent such an intolerable nuisance. Your permitting attention to be drawn to tho matter through your columns will greatly oblige, A WEAK WOMAN.
