MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19. Por Northern ports, per Hawca, at 7.30 p.m. Guard's van must not be used for Hawea's mails. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26. For United Kingdom, via San Francisci, &c, per Wanaka. The s.s. Stella will leave the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds about the middle of February. Note.—The day of the Port Levy mail service is altered from Friday to Tuesday of each SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster
