Smith was charged with being drunk and disorderly and with smashing tho windows of Simmonds' Oyster Saloon, Gloucester streot. Tho offenoe took plaoe at ono o'clock this morning. The damage done was about fifty-five shillings'worth. James Mitchell, manager of the saloon, deposed to the facts of the case, and prisoner was fined 5s and ordered to pay for damage £2 15s and cab hire 2s.
