There are ten acceptances for the Aus. tralian Cup, and thirty-two for the Hand! cap.
Awards.
The following further Exhibition awards have been announced: —Second order of merit, W. Savage, of Christchurch, for pen and ink drawing; H. C. W. Rigg, Wellington, for pen and ink drawing; R. T. Holmes, Wellington, for steel plate with proofs ; Surveyor-General of New Zealand, for specimens of photo-lithography; Dr. James Hector, for maps; W. W. J. Spreat, Wellington, for map of Otago, Third order of merit —Robert Lambie, Napier, for design for timber framed churches; John Buchanan, Wellington, for illustrations of grasses, &c.; Gervard Mueller, Hokitika, for map of Westland. Fourth order of merit—F. W. Burwell, Invercargill, for architectural drawings. Fifth order of merit—Leonard Stowe, Wellington, for model of calculating machine. ALBANY, February 16. Shipping. The P. and O. Company's steamship Briadisi, with the inward Suez mail, arrived at King George's Sound to-day, en route for Adelaide.
