The sale commenced ahottly after twelve, at Mr Charles Clark’s rooms (kindly lent for the occasion). There was a large attendance, and more animation shown than we have seen at land sales for some time. About one-half the sections offered were disposed of, the price realised being at the rats of .£I3OO per acre. As there were many inquiries for the unsold sections immediately after the sale, we have little doubt bat -that we will bo able shortly to dispose of them at prices fully equal to those obtained at auction. After the sale of sections we offered a property of half an aero, with twelve-roomed house, close to the Fendaltown bridge on lot 103. This property, however, failed to find a purchaser. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Napier, February 14. At Messrs Hoadley and Lyons’ fourth wool sole on Saturday, the catalogue included 155 holes and 276 pockets. Competition was languid, and prices for common to good greasy shearing declined a penay. The value of superior scoured woo fully maintained.
