MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma, at 1,40 p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 230 p m. train. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, &c., per Wanaka.
Tho a.s. Stella will leave the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds about the middle of February. Note.—The day of the Port Levy mail service is altered from Friday to Tuesday of each WCC ’ SYDNEY J. DICE, Chief Postmaster
