Two boats, the property of separate dobs, tostart, or no race. Boats not at the start at the time specified, shall be liable to be disqualified by the starter. Races to be rowed under the Rules of the United Canterbury Boating Club, copies of which msy be obtained on application. Competitors in Junior Races to be under twenty-one years of age on day of regatta. Boats competing in nil Sculling Races to be clinker-built, and to measure over all not more than 22ft 6in. Beam not leas than 3ft Sin, and length of outrigger not msre than 9in. Entries close at the Commercial Hotel on THURSDAY, MARCH 10th, 1881, at 8 p.m. Clnbs entering boats must name colors, and crews, if possible, and forward cheqne for entrance fees, at or before the time stated, to the undersigned.
