MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11. For Kaikoura, per Tui, at 3.30 p.m. ; late fee letters at 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12. For Northern Ports, per Pengnin, at 7.30 pm. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. For Northern Ports, per Rotomahana, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.30 p.m. train. TUESDAY, FEBBUARY 15. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Riagorooma. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, &c, per Wanaka. The s.s. Stella will leave the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds about the middle of February. Note.—The day of the Port Levy mail service is altered from Friday to Tuesday of each week. SYDNEY J.
