Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 10, For Akaroa and Otago, per Wanaka, at 9.30 a.m. ; late fee letters at 9.40 a.m.; guard’s van, 10.10 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Rotomabana, at 1.40 p.m. ; late fee letters at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Riogorooma. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26. For United Kingdon, via San Francisco, Ac., per Wanaka. The s.s. Stella will leave th% Bluff for the West Coast Sounds about the middle of February. Note.—The day of tho Port Levy mail service is altered from Friday to Tuesday of each week.
