DB. HASBALL’S EEPOET. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 64, Hoi born Viaduct, E.O. London, 9tfa May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiodanp Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the above named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are sot forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart’s Schiedam Schnapps is avery superior article of | its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) Abthtjb H. Has ell, M.D., Author of “ Food and its Adulteration.” Otto Hxhnkb, F. 5.0., Public Analyst. WM. JOHNSON’S BEPOET. Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, 23rd July, 1877. Henri J. Hart, Esq. Sir,—l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by yon to me has been sub mitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the finest sample of schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odor, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities o schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, an 3 in this respect compares favorably with other ‘-tuples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes.—l have tho honor to be, Ac., (Signed) Wit. Johnson, Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. This pure medical spirit, superior to any in the market, and lower in price, is offered to the public under the full conviction that it wili iapart!ode all others now in use. MEDICAL CERTIFICATES. “ After a careful trial of Mrs Bloor’s Farinaceous Food for Infants and Invalids, I feel no little pleasure in recommending it as the beet substitute I have met with for the natural food of infants, from its being highly nutritious, easy of digestion, and not irritating the alimentary canal. In my opinion its more general use would tend greatly to diminish the excessive mortality which has hitherto existed in the colony. “ Having tried Mrs Bloor’s Food for Infant and Invalids, I am justified in saying that I consider it an excellent article in oil cases whore infanta are deprived of their natural food, and nvalids suffering from dyspepsia, combined with feeble digestive powers. “ GODFREY HOWITT, M.D., 11 194 Collins street, Melbourne.
