We have subjected a sample of the above named artiole to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pare and mild taste. Mr Hart's Sohiedam Schnapps is avery suporior artiole of sto class, is woll purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) AnTHtrn H. It has a pure fragrant odor, and ia absolutely jurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the promotion of the choicost qualities t schnapps. It ia very smooth to the palate, an' in this ro*poot compares favorably with other ..Lirplfls offered for ealo. It may bo advised as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes.—l havo tho honor to be, Ac., (Signed) Wh. Johnson, Analytical Chemist to tho Government of Victoria.
