IMPORTS AND EXPORTS FOR 1880.

Tho official return of tho imports and exports for 1880 is not yet published, but an approximately accurate return has been completed. It shows the imports for 1880 to have been £6,163,211, nearly two and a quarter millions less than for 1879. The exports were £6,325,692, nearly £200,000 more than in 1879. In the December quarter of 1879 the imports exceeded the exports, and in the same quarter of 1880 this is reversed.
